SG Series precision ground ball screws are the choice when high linear accuracy (i.e., grades C0, C1, C3, or C5) and/or smooth movement is required. A precision grinding process is used to create the ball screw thread.
SR Series precision rolled ball screws are the choice where the extra cost of the higher quality product (SG series) is unnecessary. SR screws are made using a thread rolling process that is faster than grinding allowing for a more economical product. We stock a select grouping for quick delivery. Accuracy grades Ct7 and Ct10 are available.
(11) New Product! PSRT Series ball screws are made to C5 accuracy grade. These are precision rolled ball screws that use new technology to acheive high accuracy while maintaining lower cost. The drive end is finished for bearing, lock nut, and coupling.
(16) The World's Smallest Ball Screwwith a screw shaft diameter of 1.8 mm (0.07 inch)! FBS nuts use a return plate to pickup the steel balls and circulate them back into the load zone. This is done via a channel in the return plate.
SD Series precision ground bi-directional ball screws are an excellent choice for applications where you need left and right hand threads on one screw. Ball nuts on each end move in opposite directions of each other. Accuracy grades C3 and C5 are available.
